Everyday Epicurean

The local green-grocer had a special on Strawberries yesterday, $2.99 a punnet or 4 punnets for $8. So I opted for the 4 punnets.

For breakfast we therefore had pancakes with sliced strawberries, cream and icing sugar (and sometimes a little honey too). Quite decadent but it’s Sunday.

I had planned to also make a strawberry flan for tonight’s dessert, but with all the other cooking, playing Lego with the boys, etc that happened, the flan plan fell through. Maybe tomorrow.
