Honey Cinnamon Pancakes
I made a new recipe for pancakes this morning and it turned out to be a winner with the family, so here it is.
Sorry, no photo for this one, we ate them.
Ingredients.
- 3 eggs (backyard)
- 0.5 cups castor sugar
- 0.5 teaspoons bi-carb soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 30g butter, melted
- 0.75 cups of water
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1 dessertspoon of honey
- 0.5 teaspoons of Dutch cinnamon powder
Method.
Cream the butter, sugar and eggs.
Add the milk and mix thoroughly.
Add the flour, baking power & bi-carb and whisk until smooth.
Thin with the water, add the honey and cinnamon and whisk well.
Heat a large fry pan to about 340F/170C and melt a little butter in it.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the pan per pancake. When they bubble, flip them. Cook for a little while longer until the base is brownish, then serve.
